Glandular Blend Essential Oil
This blend may help over all vitality. It contains oils associated with hormonal balance, improving and balancing metabolism, and weight control. It may also help alleviate hot flashes in women.
Spearmint (Mentha spicata) - helps support the respiratory and nervous systems. With its hormone-like activity, it may help open and release emotional blocks and bring about a feeling of balance. This oil may aid the respiratory, nervous, and glandular systems. Spearmint is antispasmodic, anti-infectious, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory. It has also been used to increase metabolism to burn fat.
Myrtle (Myrtus communis) - may help normalize hormonal imbalances of the thyroid and ovaries. It may help the respiratory system with chronic coughs and tuberculosis. Myrtle is suitable to use for coughs and chest complaints with children, and may support immune function in fighting cold, flu and infectious disease.
Fleabane (Conyza canadenis) stimulates the liver and pancreas, is anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, and hormone-like. Daniel Penoel, MD, used it to
treat children with retarded puberty. It is also known as "fleabane."
Sage (Salvia officinalis) - has been used in Europe for skin conditions such as eczema, acne, dandruff, and hair loss. It has been recognized for its ability to strengthen the vital centers. It may help in relieving depression and mental fatigue. Sage contains sclareol, which stimulates the body to produce its own estrogen. It contains natural estrogenic compounds that help relieve PMS symptoms. It contains natural estrogenic compounds that help relieve PMS symptoms. The Lakota Indians used it for purification and healing. Sage is used to dispel negative emotions from sexual abuse and denial, and as a complete body tonic for healing and strength.
Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) - assists in balancing hormones. It is antispasmodic, relaxant, anti-imflammatory, anti-infectious, antibacterial, antifungal, and stimulates the liver and pancreas.
Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) - helps support the adrenal glands for increased energy. It may help with difficulties related to circulation. It may also help relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints related to stress, arthritis, and gout. Nutmeg may also help with digestive problems such as flatulence, indigestion, and nausea. It is antiseptic, anti-parasitic, and a neurotonic.
Dilute 50-50 and apply over the lower back, thyroid, kidneys, liver, feet, and glandular areas. It may also be applied to the Vita Flex points on the feet for these same areas of the body.
This blend may be irritating to those with sensitive skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental eye contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye and call your doctor if necessary. Never use water to dilute or rinse.
