Headache Blend Essential Oil

Headache Blend Essential Oil contains oils that were traditionally used to relieve headaches, nausea, depression, and problems related to migraine headaches.

Ingredients:

Peppermint (Mentha piperita) - is one of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion. Jean Valnet, MD, studied the beneficial effects of peppermint on the liver and respiratory systems. Other scientists have researched its effect on impaired taste and smell as well as improved concentration and mental accuracy. Alan Hirsch, MD, studied its ability to directly affect the brain's satiety center, triggering a sensation of fullness after meals, which may help in weight loss by curbing the appetite. Daniel Penoel, MD, reports that it may help to reduce fevers, candida, nausea, vomiting, and strengthen the respiratory system. Adding peppermint oil to drinking water helps cool body temperature during hot weather.

Basil (Ocimum basilicum) - can be relaxing to smooth muscles as well as the involuntary muscles of the heart and digestive system. It may soothe
insect bites from bees, wasps, and spiders. Basil has been found to alleviate mental fatigue, spasms, rhinitis and help when there is a loss of smell due to
nasal congestion.

Majoram (Origanum majorana) - is used for calming the respiratory system and soothing sore and aching muscles. Majoram helps regenerate smooth muscle tissues, and also assists in relieving spasms and migraine headaches and calming the nerves. It is antimicrobial, anti-infectious, antibacterial, and
antiseptic, and may work as a diuretic.

Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) - helps regenerate tissue and nerves and improves circulation. It is an anticoagulant, prevents phlebitis, helps regulate cholesterol, stimulates liver cell function, and may help clean plaque and debris from the veins and arteries. It is mucolytic, an expectorant, antispasmodic, and reduces scarring and discoloration. It may help release feelings anger promoting forgiveness.

Application:

Most effective when inhaled. Rub 2 drops in the palms of the hands, cup over the nose and inhale. Massage several drops at the base of
the skull, and on the back of the neck. Apply to the forehead, crown, shoulders, temples, and Vita Flex points on the feet.

Safety Data: This blend may be irritating to those with sensitive skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental eye contact, put a few drops of any
pure vegetable oil in the eye and call your doctor if necessary. Never use water to dilute or rinse.
