Hypothyroid Formular(Hashimoto's disease)
When the thyroid is underactive and produces insufficient thyroid hormone. Approximately 40 percent of the U.S. population suffers from this disorder, and these people tend to also suffer hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).Hashimoto's disease, like Graves disease, is an autoimmune condition affecting the thyroid.

Ingredients:
Spearmint (Mentha spicata) - helps support the respiratory and nervous systems. With its hormone-like activity, it may help open and release emotional blocks and bring about a feeling of balance. This oil may aid the respiratory, nervous, and glandular systems. Spearmint is antispasmodic, anti-infectious, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory. It has also been used to increase metabolism to burn fat.
Myrtle (Myrtus communis) - may help normalize hormonal imbalances of the thyroid and ovaries. It may help the respiratory system with chronic
coughs and tuberculosis. Myrtle is suitable to use for coughs and chest complaints with children, and may support immune function in fighting cold, flu and infectious disease.
Fleabane (Conyza canadenis) stimulates the liver and pancreas, is anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, and hormone-like. Daniel Penoel, MD, used it to
treat children with retarded puberty. It is also known as "fleabane."
Sage (Salvia officinalis) - has been used in Europe for skin conditions such as eczema, acne, dandruff, and hair loss. It has been recognized for its ability to strengthen the vital centers. It may help in relieving depression and mental fatigue. Sage contains sclareol, which stimulates the body to produce its own estrogen. Ledum (Ledum groenlandicum) - is anti-inflammatory, antitumoral, antibacterial, diuretic, hepatoprotectant, and decongestant. Ledum is a strongly aromatic herb that has been used for centuries in folk medicine. The native people of Eastern Canada used this herb for tea, as a general tonic, and to treat a variety of kidney-related problems. Ledum has helped protect the native people of North America against scurvy for thousands of years. The Cree Indians used it for fevers and colds.
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) - has strong antifungal properties when applied topically. It is used for purification and digestion.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) - is one of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion. Jean Valnet, MD, studied the beneficial effects of peppermint on the liver and respiratory systems. Daniel Penoel, MD, reports that it may help to reduce fevers, candida, nausea, and vomiting, and strengthen the respiratory system. Adding peppermint to drinking water helps cool body temperature during hot weather. This effect is caused be the menthol in peppermint. This compound stimulates the nervous system and may be stimulating for the mind.
Clove (Syzgium aromaticum) - has the highest known antioxidant power as measured by ORAC (oxygen radical absorbent capacity), a test developed by researchers at Tufts University to accurately measure free radical scavenging ability.
Application:
TOPICAL: DILUTE 50-50, apply 3-5 drops over the thyroid (lower front of the neck on both sides of the trachea), 1-3 times daily.
VITA FLEX, apply 1-3 drops on the thyroid Vita Flex points of the feet (located on the inside edge of the ball of the foot, just below the base of the
big toe.)
Safety Data: This blend may be irritating to those with sensitive skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental eye contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye and call your doctor if necessary. Never use water to dilute or rinse.
