Lupus Blend Essential Oil
Lupus is an autoimmune disease characterized by several different varieties: Lupus vulgar is and Lupus erythematosus (discoid and systemic).
Lupus vulgaris is characterized by lesions that form on skin. Brownish lesions may form on the face and become ulcerous and form scars.
Lupus erythematosus (discoid) is characterized by scaly red patches on the skin and oval or butterfly-shaped lesions on the face. It is milder than the systemic type.
Systemic Lupus erythematosus is more serious than discoid lupus. It inflames the connective tissue in any part of the body, including the joints, muscles, skin, blood vessels, membranes surrounding the lungs and heart, and occasionally the kidneys and brain.Ingredients:
Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) - is one of the oils used most for the circulatory and lymphatic systems. It may help alleviate edema, cellulite, varicose veins, and water retention. It is anti-infectious, antibacterial, antimicrobial, mucolytic, antiseptic, refreshing, and relaxing. It may help improve the cardiovascular system and circulation as well as help relieve other lymphatic and capillary problems.
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexosus) - has strong antifungal properties when applied topically. It is used for purification and digestion.
Spearmint (Mentha spicata) - helps support the respiratory and nervous systems. With its hormone-like activity, it may help open and release
emotional blocks and bring about a feeling of balance. This oil may aid the respiratory, nervous, and glandular systems. Spearmint is antispasmodic, ant-infectious, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory. It has also been used to increase metabolism to burn fat.
Myrtle (Myrtus communis) - may help normalize hormonal imbalances of the thyroid and ovaries. It may help the respiratory system with chronic
coughs and tuberculosis. Myrtle is suitable to use for coughs and chest complaints with children, and may support immune function in fighting cold, flu, and infectious disease.
Fleabane (Conyza canadensis) - stimulates the liver and pancreas, is anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, and hormone-like. Daniel Penoel, MD, used it
to treat children with retarded puberty. It is also known as fleabane.
Sage (Salvia officinalis) - has been used in Europe for skin conditions such as eczema, acne, dandruff, and hair loss. It has been recognized for its ability to strengthen the vital centers. It may help in relieving depression and mental fatigue. Sage contains sclareol, which stimulates the body to produce its own estrogen. It contains natural estrogenis compounds that help relieve PMS symptoms.
Applications:
TOPICAL: BODY MASSAGE, once every other day
RAINDROP Technique, 1-2 times weekly
Lupus Regimen:
Do the following daily:
1. BATH SALT: using Glandular Blend, add 30 drops to 1/2 cup Epsom salt or baking soda and add to hot bath. Soak for 30 minutes.
2. VITA FLEX: Massage Glandular Blend on bottoms of the feet; follow two hours later with foot massage using Antimicrobial Blend.
3. TOPICAL: Massage 10-15 drops Immune Blend over liver and on feet 2-3 times daily.
Safety Data:
This blend may be irritating to those with sensitive skin. Avoid eye contact. In case of accidental eye contact, put a few drops of any pure vegetable oil in the eye and call your doctor if necessary. Never use water to dilute or rinse.
